Captain Roy's Marine Training offers the most comprehensive and student orientated Coast Guard Approved OUPV Courses available. Capt Kirby Stevens along with Capt Bill Moore are conducting the classes at Mt Vernon, Bellevue and Friday Harbor. These OUPV and Masters Courses are Coast Guard Approved and with the successful completion of the course, no further testing at the Coast Guard is required.

Captain Kirby Stevens Capt Roy's, Inc Director of Training Captain Kirby Stevens has been an instructor with Captain Roy's Marine Training for many years in Houston area and relocated to Whidbey Island. He brings with him a wide range of marine knowledge and teaching experience. He is an active boater in the Seattle area and most times you will find him on the water if he's not in the classroom!

Captain Bill Moore Capt Roy's OUPV and Masters Instructor Captain Bill Moore has over 47 years of boating experience, He also has a distinguished 21 year career in Naval Operations and has completed STCW Training and is endorsed for international as well as domestic waters. Like Capt Kirby, when Capt Bill is not in the classroom he's likely on the water!

Mt. Vernon, Wa - Starts October 2nd , 2009 - Coast Guard Approved Course for OUPV (55 hours). This class runs three weekends 5-9pm on Friday evenings and 8-5 on Saturday and Sunday... Call 360-678-0509 for more information on this class. This class is held at Skagit Valley College.

DesMoines (Seattle Area), Wa - Starts October 23rd , 2009 - Coast Guard Approved Course for OUPV (55 hours). This class runs three weekends 5-9pm on Friday evenings and 8-5 on Saturday and Sunday... Call 360-678-0509 for more information on this class. This class is held at Highline Community College in Des Moines which is just south of SeaTac airport.

Mt. Vernon, Wa - Starts November 13th, 2009 - Coast Guard Approved Course for OUPV (55 hours). This class runs three weekends 5-9pm on Friday evenings and 8-5 on Saturday and Sunday... Call 360-678-0509 for more information on this class. This class is held at Skagit Valley College.

Mt. Vernon, Wa - December 11th, 12th and 13th, 2009 - Coast Guard Approved Course for Masters or Masters Upgrade (25 hours). You must have completed the OUPV Course or presentely hold a current OUPV license before taking this class. This class runs three full days, Friday and Saturday and Sunday....
