This plotting package gives you everything you need to navigate you boat safely. Having a GPS on your boat is not the total answer to navigation. GPS is a great tool for navigation and I highly recommend every boater have one, and know how to use it. However, GPS is a navigation tool that does not replace the need to know how to read a chart and determine the safe route. A GPS does not know the difference between land and water you must be able to verify your course on a chart for safe navigation.

You will receive a step-by-step plotting book that makes learning easy. Each member of your family will be able to use it. Each step is thoughly explained with plenty of examples. It includes numerous practice problems with detailed answers to allow you to verify your progress. A special training chart is used for the workbook. Full color charts, 50 navigation problems, along with their related Coast Pilot and Light List extracts are included to apply the knowledge you learn on the training chart.

A quality plotter and dividers are also included. All you need is a pencil and a basic calculator.

When you complete this training you will be able to navigate with confidence and will have an exellent navigation reference and tools for your vessel.
