This CD contains the complete Inland and International Rules of the Road, animations to demonstrate the proper executation of the Rules, picutres of all boats lighting requirements, and active sound signals for maneuvering and restricted visibility. There are review questions and a Coast Guard rules practice area.

This package includes a copy of Coast Guard Navigation Rules International and Inland Rules book that is required on inland vessels greater than 12 meters, a Animated/Interactive Rules of the Road CD, and a workbook designed to be used with the Coast Guard Rules book. This workbook is the same book that is included in the Home Study course and our in-house Coast Guard Approved Courses. This is the best package available for a through understanding of the rules!
Learn to navigate with confidence. Plotting courses, determining your position, reading charts, using the Coast Pilot and Light Lists are skills that are easy to learn. This plotting package gives you everything you need to navigate you boat safely. Having a GPS on your boat is not the total answer to navigation. GPS is a great tool for navigation and I highly recommend every boater have one, and know how to use it. However, GPS is a navigation tool that does not replace the need to know how to read a chart and determine the safe route. A GPS does not know the difference between land and water you must be able to verify your course on a chart for safe navigation.
